Friends and family play a crucial role in helping their loved ones successfully manage severe mental illness. The PIER Model promotes a family-centered approach to treatment; for youth experiencing symptoms, Family Psychoeducation provides a lifeline.
Family Psychoeducation Training & Certification is included in the PIER Model because of its evidence-based, proven success in treating serious illness and the earliest stages of psychosis. Family Psychoeducation Training & Certification can be implemented as a stand-alone training module, or in conjunction with the PIER Model Training & Certification.
