RYAN MELTON is the clinical supervisor at the Mid-Valley Behavioral Care Network’s early psychosis identification and treatment program, Early Assessment and Support Team (EAST). In addition to his supervisory responsibilities to EAST, he provides clinical and technical assistance to the EAST dissemination sites in Oregon, the Early Assessment and Support Alliance (EASA).
Mr. Melton has been honored by the State of Oregon’s Department of Mental Health and Addiction by receiving its Mental Health Award of Excellence in 2010. Mr. Melton also acts as adjunct faculty in the Social Sciences and Human Services Department at Chemeketa Community College, Oregon State University’s Counseling Program and George Fox University.
Mr. Melton is currently in his third year as a doctoral student at Oregon State University. He also volunteers as the Board Chair for the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.
Mr. Melton graduated from Pacific University in 2000 with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology.
